As we progress in the building process and into the construction of the residential portion of Newbury, we get closer to the models opening and pre-sale beginning.  Our database numbers are already greatly exceeding the number of homes that will be available for purchase at Newbury, and we wanted to stress that the only way to get the home lot of your choice is by becoming involved as early as possible.

Please join our database by emailing homes@newburymarket.com and from there you will be kept up to date on home design releases, the launch of our website, project events happening at the site, and most importantly, when we set the date for pre-sale to get underway.

Preliminary Home Design: Carriage Homes

Newbury is proud to release the third of its proposed new home plans, the Carriage Homes.  The Carriage Homes will be built by both Stambrosky Homes and Deklawa Home.  Stambrosky is also the builder of our Manor Homes, but we are proud to introduce you to Deklawa Home.  Deklawa Home is a valued and respected builder in western Pennsylvania.  Like all the homes at Newbury, the Carriage Homes will be some of the best in the region.

The Carriage Homes were designed with Empty Nesters “on-the-go” in mind.  Those looking for a larger maintenance-free home will find refuge with these designs.  Like all the homes built at Newbury, the Carriage Homes will provide a neighborhood feel and front porch living, combined with the convenience of a maintenance-free lifestyle.  Fourteen Carriage Home lots will be available.

The Carriage Homes will range in size from 2,100 to 2,500 square feet and the homes will range in price from $295,000 to $350,000.  In addition, the Carriage Homes will feature a first floor master bedroom!

As with every design realeased here on the Newbury Blog, these layouts are subject to change and we encourage you to provide us with feedback.  We want nothing more than to provide everyone who chooses to live in the Newbury Community with the home of their dreams, and we can’t do that without input from you!  We look forward to hearing from you and we anxiously look forward to the release of the final two home designs over the coming weeks:  the Cottage Homes and the Townhomes.

Preliminary Home Designs: Park Homes

Newbury is very excited to release the second of its proposed new home plans, the Park Home.  The Park Home is being built by Heartland Homes, Pittsburgh’s #1 Custom Home Builder.

The Park Home was designed with couples and families in mind.  It is our cross-over home, offering the most for everyone!  The Park Home may be your family’s dream house or a home where a couple plans to grow old together.  75 Park Homes will be built at Newbury.  Like the Manor Home and like all the homes that will be built at Newbury, the Park Home will have a beautiful and usable yard; a front porch to connect with neighbors and friends; and beautiful rooms designed for exceptionable livability.

Park Homes will range in size from 2,500 to 3,000 square feet and these homes will range from the mid $300′s to mid $400′s in price.  As with every design in our preliminary home design series, these are subject to change.  Any input you could give will help us best meet the needs of you and your family.  We look forward to hearing from you and anxiously look forward to releasing the remaining three product types that will be available at the community at Newbury.

Preliminary Home Design: Manor Homes

Newbury is very excited to release the first of its proposed new home plans.  As you may know, Newbury is creating the first new neo traditional community in the South Hills!  From homes with front porches to sidewalks and street lights, Newbury endeavors to be one of the best new neighborhoods in the South Hills.  We hope that when you view these plans, they will “feel” familiar…and they should.  We hope you will conclude that the home designs look like they have been in the South Hills for a long time.  Rest assured though, that by our architectural and performance standards, the homes at Newbury will be among the best built new homes in the region, including all the benefits of the best new floor plan ideas and home features of today.  And the proximity to some of the best new stores, restaurants and small shops will make the Newbury lifestyle choice one of a kind in Pittsburgh.

Newbury is comprised of approximately 200 new for sale homes:  45 Manor Homes (our largest and most custom home), 75 Park Homes, 30 Cottage Homes, 20 Carriage Homes and 30 Townhomes.   We will be releasing a product type every two weeks or so, the first of which is the Manor Home.  The Manor Home is our largest and most customizable home.  These homes are being built by Stambrosky Homes, one of the premier home builders in the region.  Stambrosky is probably most known for their award winning efforts as a developer and builder of Nevillewood.

The Manor Homes have been designed with the growing family and move up buyer in mind.  As you will see, the floor plans are light and airy, offer dynamic living and provide plenty of amenities for any family.  The plans offer both a second or first floor master plan and have a number of beautiful elevation choices.

Like all homes at Newbury, the Manor Home embodies the values of community and home we are endeavoring to create:  each home will have a beautiful and usable yard; a front porch to connect with neighbors and friends or just relax; and beautiful rooms that are designed for livability and your needs in mind, not just size.
